This internship opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students looking to build practical experience in finance, accounting, reconciliation, and compliance within Ethiopia’s investment banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recording of daily financial transactions and preparation of payment vouchers.
- Assist in bank and supplier reconciliations.
- Help prepare financial reports and budget variance analysis.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Deliver weekly and monthly financial reports as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
