Job Summary

Give Hope Ethiopia (GHE) is seeking a highly skilled and creative freelance videographer/producer to create a compelling 2–3 minute high-definition fundraising video. The video will connect donors with the realities and impact of the organization’s work in the Legatafo/Legedadi community.

About the Organization

Give Hope Ethiopia is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting orphaned and vulnerable children, youth, and women through education, healthcare, nutrition, and economic empowerment initiatives. The organization focuses on long-term community development through sustainable programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture cinematic footage highlighting community challenges such as sanitation and living conditions
• Conduct interviews and document stories of children, showcasing their experiences and aspirations
• Film professional interviews with government representatives and stakeholders
• Document impact stories from GHE staff and beneficiaries
• Create a compelling visual narrative that reflects both challenges and transformation

Scope of Work

• Produce a high-quality 2–3 minute fundraising video
• Create two short 30–60 second videos for social media platforms
• Deliver selected raw footage for future organizational use

Requirements

• Ability to produce 4K or high-quality 1080p video with professional editing
• Proven experience in NGO, documentary, or fundraising video production
• Strong storytelling and visual communication skills
• Fluency in Amharic or Oromiffa, or ability to work with translators
• Access to professional video, lighting, and audio equipment

Deliverables

• One main 2–3 minute high-impact fundraising video
• Two short social media videos (30–60 seconds each)
• Selected raw interview footage for archival use
