The HR Manager will be responsible for managing human resource activities at MAHLET CONSULTING PLC, including recruitment, employee development, performance management, and HR policy implementation. The role will support the company in building and maintaining an effective workforce aligned with organizational goals.The HR Manager will ensure proper HR practices and compliance with Ethiopian labour laws while supporting employee growth and organizational development.

Requirements
- Academic Foundation: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a closely related commercial field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in human resources management, personnel administration, or an HR generalist role, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
- Legal & Regulatory Expertise: Deep, working knowledge of Ethiopian labor proclamations and regulatory frameworks, ensuring complete legal compliance across contracts, terminations, and employee disputes.
- Performance & Talent Architecture: Proven experience designing and executing employee performance evaluations, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and structured professional development or training programs.
- Policy Development: Strong capability to draft, implement, and update localized HR manuals, codes of conduct, and organizational policies aligned with company strategy.
- Software Tool Mastery: Advanced proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems), digital payroll tools, and standard corporate platforms like the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Interpersonal & Mediation Synergy: Exceptional emotional intelligence, active listening, and conflict-resolution skills, with a track record of supporting worker growth while maintaining strict corporate alignment.
- Communication Metrics: Flawless written and verbal communication skills in both Amharic and English, with the capacity to lead sensitive internal negotiations and represent the firm externally.
