Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions and support diverse business operations. The role ensures a positive work environment, compliance with labor laws, and alignment of HR initiatives with strategic organizational goals. The HR Manager will lead:
- Recruitment
- Performance management
- Compensation and benefits administration
- Employee relations
- HR policy development
Requirements
- Any ERP system experience is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Align HR strategies with organizational goals and participate in policy formulation.
- Support departmental heads in workforce planning and organizational design.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with managers to forecast staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
- Performance Management
- Design and manage performance evaluation systems.
- Provide feedback, support career development, and guide training or disciplinary actions.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll structures, benefits, and responsibility allowances.
- Ensure pay scales are aligned with budgets and market benchmarks.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
- Employee Relations
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
- Manage grievances and conflict resolution fairly and efficiently.
- Advise management and staff on HR policies and labor law compliance.
- HR Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and regulatory changes.
- Maintain employee records and prepare HR reports (e.g., headcount, attrition).
- Policy & Systems Development
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and employee handbook.
- Oversee HR system implementation (ERP/HRIS) for attendance, leave, and personnel tracking.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Production, Finance, Marketing, and General Services to support staffing, training, and workforce planning.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor HR team members (recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and training officers).
- Ensure effective delivery of HR services across all business units.
Performance Indicators
- Employee retention and satisfaction rates.
- Effectiveness and completion of training programs.
- Compliance with labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Time-to-fill vacancies and quality of hires.
- Accuracy and timeliness of HR reports.
- Adoption and effective use of ERP/HRIS systems.
