Junior Datacenter Engineer

Educational Qualifications:

• BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power & Control), Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Work Experience:

• Fresh graduates only.
• Only 2018 E.C. graduates are eligible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations, monitoring, and maintenance activities within the data center environment.
• Assist in monitoring critical infrastructure systems, including power supply, cooling systems, and equipment performance.
• Perform routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical systems to ensure operational reliability.
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of data center equipment and infrastructure.
• Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting technical issues related to power, cooling, and facility systems.
• Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and equipment status.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, inspections, and equipment status reports.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and support corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with data center safety procedures, operational standards, and security requirements.
• Assist in equipment installation, cabling, testing, and technical documentation activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure continuous availability and reliability of data center operations.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Basic understanding of electrical power systems, mechanical systems, and data center infrastructure.
• Knowledge of power distribution systems, UPS, generators, cooling systems, and environmental monitoring is an advantage.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with technical equipment and follow operational procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-paced technical environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts when required.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and safety awareness.
