Job Summary
A highly analytical and articulate Lawyer with a proven track record in legal counsel, strong contract negotiation skills, and the ability to mitigate organizational risk while managing complex litigation or corporate matters. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, drafting enforceable legal frameworks, and defending the organization’s or clients’ interests across all legal proceedings.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from an accredited university.
- Licensed to practice law and admitted to the relevant Bar Association or Law Society.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification legal experience (or as required by the position level).
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or regulated industries is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on legal and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Develop and maintain enforceable legal frameworks and compliance procedures.
- Represent and defend the organization’s or clients’ interests in legal proceedings.
- Identify and mitigate legal and organizational risks.
- Support dispute resolution, litigation management, and settlement processes.
- Ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Advise management on legal implications of strategic and operational decisions.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards.
