Job Summary

TotalEnergies Marketing Ethiopia is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Communication Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in executing impactful marketing campaigns, coordinating promotional activities, and ensuring brand consistency across all communication channels. The Marketing Communication Officer plays a vital role in enhancing brand visibility, driving customer engagement, and supporting the commercial objectives of Total Energies Marketing Ethiopia. This position is responsible for planning and executing strategic marketing campaigns, managing promotional materials and events, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all communication platforms. The role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong coordination skills to deliver impactful marketing initiatives that align with the company’s goals and values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow up on marketing communication campaigns, both above and below the line.
• Prepare campaign proposals with clear objectives, timelines, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Manage budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Coordinate with suppliers for TV, radio, billboard, and print media production.
• Handle outdoor events and sponsorship requests.
• Contribute to creative concept development and visual design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut skills are a plus).
• Organize and support marketing events for Network, Specialties & B2B channels.
• Conduct field assessments and support innovative marketing activities.
• Monitor media placements and manage communication contracts.
• Select and manage promotional giveaway items in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Adapt global branding guidelines to local market needs.
• Analyze post-campaign results to measure effectiveness.
• Oversee stock management and cost-sharing of promotional items with relevant departments.
• Ensure compliance with TotalEnergies’ quality, safety standards, and code of conduct.
• Uphold TotalEnergies' high standards for quality, safety, and our code of conduct, prioritizing health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) in all operations.

Qualification

• Education: BA degree in Management, Marketing or Economics.
• Experience: 2 years and above experience in Marketing communication is advantageous.
• Skills: communication skills, Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus), Excellent organizational, analytical, and, Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
• Language: Excellent written and spoken English
