Job Summary
The Marketing Manager leads World Vision Ethiopia’s national marketing and fundraising strategy, driving growth in domestic income, supporter engagement, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote best practices and foster a culture of relevant culture, e.g., safeguarding, quality assurance.
- Training and Capacity Building: Design and facilitate training programs for staff, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill enhancement.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure adherence to established standards and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Strategic Collaboration and Thought Leadership: Engage with the Local Partnerships Specialist to implement the Localisation Roadmap.
- Strategic Marketing and Fundraising Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of WVE’s national marketing and fundraising strategy.
- Drive Retail Giving: Design and lead strategies for acquiring, nurturing, and retaining individual Sponsors and Donors.
- Partnership and CSR Oversight: Supervise the Marketing Partnerships Specialist to ensure strong pipeline management.
- Market Research and Brand Innovation: Monitor and analyze giving trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s in business administration, Finance, Marketing, Development, or related field.
Professional Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in marketing, fundraising, or business development, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
