Position Details
- Marketing Officer (Male/Female, both can apply for the job, which is for 4 months or as the procuring agency deems fit)
Qualifications
- Education: BBA/MBA, Graduate in Computer Science, Master's in Economics
- Computer Skills: Expert in Excel, Word, use of formulas in Excel, reporting on tabulated data, data handling, monitoring, and information.
- Language: Amharic, English, able to perform simultaneous translation.
Additional Requirements
- Campaign Management: Plan and oversee advertising and promotional campaigns across various media.
- Ability to make reports, data handling, marketing, media coordination, and promotion of the event.
- Content Creation: Prepare and oversee the publication of marketing materials.
- Inspect and monitor the installation of advertisement material.
- Event Coordination: Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders and vendors to ensure the success of marketing activities.
- Airport duties: Attend to delegates' arrival, to and from the hotel.
- Adjustment of delegates in the venue.
- Ensure timely release of goods/stuff from customs.
- Banks' duties.
- Distribution of invitation letters, coordination with guests.
- Monitoring of security arrangements.
- Arrangement for local transportation for the exhibitors and delegates.
- Information management related to events.
- Budget register entries.
- VAT entries.
- Preparation of reports related to events.
- Coordination with Millennium Hall authorities.
- Coordination with local police, municipal authorities.
- Coordination with tax authorities.
- Arrange business meetings.
- Facilitate market survey for the exhibitors.
- Coordinate with local Chambers of Commerce.
- Arrange business forums, client discussions, and conferences.
- Follow client relationship management database & utilize it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists.
- Provide translation of business documents (English-to-Amharic and vice versa).
- Help in dealing with visa issues of the delegates.
