Mechanical Engineer II

Job Summary

Mechanical Engineer II is responsible to plan and handle activities related with mechanical engineering aspects. He/she is responsible for valuation of mechanical and electromechanical systems (Air Conditioning System and elevators) and electromechanical items (vehicles and machineries); prepares bill of quantity, tender documents and specifications. Other responsibilities include designing and testing mechanical and electromechanical systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical Engineering or related fields
• Relevant professional qualifications and certifications will have added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge in electrical engineering areas.
• Technical advisory skills.
• Good IT skills and a familiarity with industry-specific software and modelling programmes.
