Job Summary

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our client's team at our Bole Dembel office. The ideal candidate must be proficient in accounting software, capable of handling day-to-day financial operations, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and records.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, receipts, and payroll.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors as needed.
• Utilize accounting software to maintain up-to-date financial data.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of work experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be active, reliable, and self-motivated.
