Nephrologist Responsibilities & Duties
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic kidney diseases.
- Administer and oversee dialysis treatments.
- Monitor and manage electrolyte imbalances.
- Collaborate with dietitians to create tailored dietary plans.
- Perform kidney biopsies to diagnose renal conditions.
- Interpret lab results and imaging studies.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney health and disease prevention.

Nephrologist Requirements
- Doctoral degree in medicine.
- BC/BE internal medicine.
- Graduate of an accredited nephrology training program.
- Excellent organizational skills.
