Job Summary
Under the general guidance of the Center Manager, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating children with developmental challenges, particularly in the areas of fine motor skills, sensory integration, and behavioral regulation. The role involves conducting regular assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, supporting families, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The Occupational Therapist also provides recommendations for assistive devices, coordinates referrals, mentors assistant rehabilitation workers, and contributes to the overall rehabilitation and development of children with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of children's motor development, sensory processing, and behavioral patterns.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans based on each child's needs and developmental goals.
- Facilitate therapeutic activities that improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, coordination, and cognitive development.
- Conduct periodic reassessments of children with disabilities and monitor therapy progress.
- Recommend assistive devices and coordinate referrals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
- Maintain accurate assessment records, therapy notes, and treatment documentation.
- Regularly update children's information in the center's database and data management system.
- Provide guidance, education, and practical training to parents and caregivers to continue therapy activities at home.
- Mentor and build the capacity of assistant rehabilitation workers in occupational therapy practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other specialists to ensure comprehensive rehabilitation services.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Center Manager or designated supervisor.
