Job Summary

Brook Hills Development Organization (BHDO) is a registered non-profit, faith-based organization working to create lasting change in vulnerable communities across Ethiopia. We are seeking a reliable and responsible Office Administrative Assistant & Cashier to support our office operations and financial transactions at our headquarters in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will be organized, trustworthy, and able to handle both administrative tasks and financial handling duties with professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle telephone calls, visitor reception, and office communications 
• Schedule meetings and assist daily office management tasks
• Manage filing systems, documentation, and correspondence
• Ensure office supplies are organized and maintained
• Follow up with staff on assigned tasks and deadlines
• Support email and communication management Cashier & Financial Duties Receive and record payments, donations, and petty cash transactions
• Issue receipts and maintain up-to-date financial logs - Assist in preparing basic expense reports and submitting to finance department 
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate handling of organizational funds

Qualification

• Female applicants only
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Office Management, Business Administration, or related fields
• Minimum 1-year proven work experience in administration or cashier roles
• Basic finance understanding and record-keeping skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Strong communication (Amharic required, English advantage)
• Honest, detail-oriented, disciplined, and good at multitasking
