Job Summary

As our Premix Factory Operator, you’ll be a crucial force operating production machinery ensuring accurate batch preparation, smooth workflow, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities

• Operate blending, batching, conveying, and packing equipment in line with production schedules and batch instructions.
• Operate equipment at blending, treatment, conveying and packing, monitor process parameters to ensure safe and optimum performance, correct formulation and consistent product quality.
• Coordinate with the production team to maintain smooth workflow and minimize downtime.
• Observe and maintain hygiene practices and clean work environments, equipment surfaces.
• Maintain accurate production and batch records in compliance with QA food safety and quality requirements.
• Transfer raw materials into the factory, stage, and accurately weigh according to batch quantities.
• Participate in the tipping process by opening bags and feeding materials through the vibratory sieve.
• Operate filling, coding, labeling, sealing, and casing machines operations while ensuring complete documentation.
• Conduct equipment inspections and carry out basic corrective and preventive maintenance following lockout/tagout procedures, while upholding food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Report any observed food safety and quality deviations or incidents immediately to Blending Quality Supervisor.
• Maintain safe working conditions by observing equipment operation protocols, forklift safety, use of appropriate PPEs, and observing safety requirements while working at height or in confined spaces.

Qualification

• Minimum 3+ years of proven experience operating production machinery in a food manufacturing or premix factory.
• Diploma or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed / certified forklift operator is an added advantage.
• Proven experience operating food processing machinery efficiently, including blenders, conveyors, and packing lines.
• Capability to ensure compliance with food safety (HACCP, GMP) and hygiene standards.
