Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential new vendors and sources of metal scraps
- Visit scrap yards, factories, and construction/demolition sites to assess scrap availability
- Collect and verify scrap material details (type, quality, quantity)
- Coordinate with logistics for timely pickup slips and suppliers
- Assist with documentation, weighbridge slips, and supplier’s payment follow-up
- Stay informed about market trends and price fluctuations
Qualification
- Educational qualification: 12 or 10+3 graduate
- Work experience: Minimum one or two years
- Technical skills: Knowledge of scraps
- Additional key deliverables: Knowledge about re-bar types
