Production Supervisor Opportunity(Personal Care Manufacturing Unit)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mixing, filling, and packing operations according to production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to formulations, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely repair and preventive maintenance.
• Control material usage, minimize waste, and ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
• Verify and approve batch records, logbooks, and production reports.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Housekeeping (5S), and ISO standards.
• Monitor hygiene and sanitation in the production area.
• Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for in-process testing, sampling, and product release.
• Ensure traceability and documentation as per requirements.
• Supervise and guide operators and line workers, ensuring discipline, teamwork, and safety.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new staff and ensure competency of operators.
• Evaluate performance and recommend development plans for subordinates.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure safe operation of all equipment.
• Report incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Participate in process optimization, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support new product trials and process validations.

Qualification

• BSc in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Cosmetics science & technology, or related fields with a minimum of 2–5 years of experience, preferably in cosmetic or personal care.
• Experience in supervising a team in a GMP or ISO-certified facility.
