Job Summary

Coordinate, organize and supervise the day-to-day, shift or day time, production processes from brewing, fermentation, filtration up to quality & delivery, availability of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) to efficiently, safely and effectively produce products as per BGI quality standard and expected performance of machineries by accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher output. Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity.
  • Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
  • Ensuring the flow of raw materials and other resources
  • Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team
  • Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
  • Oversee safe use of equipment and schedule regular Cleaning and Maintenance
  • Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Maintaining communication between employees and senior executives to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
  • Check and control all laboratory results and process data are recorded on the right recording format and/or logbook.
  • Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers.
  • Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Control the implementation of all workplace health and safety procedures, rules in the section.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager

Job Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Brewing Technology
  • Team management and supervisory skills
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Basic skills in troubleshooting, problem solving and conflict management.
  • Basic English writing/reading/listening/speaking.
  • Basic computer and IT skills

 Education

  • The position requires a minimum of TVET Level 3/4/Diploma or bachelor’s degree chemistry/chemical engineering/Food science/ Food Process Engineering/IBD or other internationally recognized Industrial science

Experience

  • 7- or 5-years’ respective experience in frontline production process in FMCG

Language

  • English
