Project Manager

Job Description

• Educational Background: MSc/BSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulics Engineering, Water Supply Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution.

• Required Skills: Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MS Project are mandatory.

• Total Work Experience: Minimum of 8/10 years relevant work experience in water supply, irrigation, hydraulic, or civil engineering projects.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and civil engineering design principles
• Experience in water supply, irrigation, drainage, or infrastructure projects
• Ability to prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and project documentation
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MS Project, and other engineering software applications
• Good project planning, scheduling, and coordination skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to supervise project implementation and monitor work progress
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Knowledge of construction standards, safety procedures, and quality control practices

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications
• Monitor project implementation and ensure compliance with engineering standards
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and work plans
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction activities
• Ensure proper utilization of resources and timely completion of project activities
• Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions when necessary
