Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with proven experience in the FMCG sector to join our finance team. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and provide timely and reliable financial reports to support effective management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and manage daily sales and purchase transactions.
• Perform regular bank, sales, and stock reconciliations.
• Prepare and process supplier and other payment transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
• Prepare payroll and tax declarations through the ERCA portal.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare accurate financial reports to support management decision-making.
• Maintain proper accounting records and financial documentation.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Key Focus Areas:

• Sales, purchase, and stock reconciliation and reporting.
• Payroll processing and employee financial support.
• Compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in the FMCG industry is preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in sales, purchase, and stock reconciliation.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax declaration procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
