Job Description
EB Yes Furniture is one of the leading suppliers of high-quality furniture in Ethiopia, widely engaged in the manufacturing and import of office and household furniture. The company supplies a wide range of products and services to governmental, non-governmental, private organizations, and individual customers. It is also engaged in the export of agricultural products such as sesame, oilseeds, and pulses to various European countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop furniture concepts, sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and production documents
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware
- Conduct site visits and oversee prototype development
- Present design proposals to clients and management
- Mentor junior designers and support the design team
- Stay updated on global furniture trends and manufacturing techniques
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Wood Technology, Industrial Design, or other related fields
- Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in furniture design and interior fit-out projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, and SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of furniture construction methods and materials
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
