Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related field.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years and above related work experience in the position.

Job Purpose:

A Senior Internal Auditor plans and executes end-to-end audits, evaluates internal controls, and manages junior staff. The role ensures that financial and operational processes comply with regulations and standards while identifying risks and presenting corrective recommendations to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop risk-based audit scopes, objectives, and testing procedures for assigned engagements.
• Perform control and substantive testing to verify the effectiveness of operational and compliance processes.
• Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations.
• Identify the financial risks of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
• Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved.
• Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability.
• Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement.
• Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations.
