Senior Loan Officer

Qualification and Experience:

• MA Degree with 2 years of relevant experience or
• BA Degree with 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience in the financial sector is advantageous
• Strong understanding of loan processing, credit analysis, and financial assessment
• Ability to evaluate clients’ creditworthiness and repayment capacity
• Knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage loan portfolios and follow up on repayments
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and process loan applications in accordance with company policies
• Conduct credit analysis and risk assessment of clients
• Monitor loan performance and follow up on overdue accounts
• Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and client information
• Prepare reports on loan portfolio performance and risk exposure
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
