On behalf of our client in a manufacturing business, We are looing a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant to join our client’s finance team. The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, along with excellent analytical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
- Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls to improve the organization's financial performance.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identify discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
- Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to senior management to support effective business planning.
- Manage and lead the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and compliance with all standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and government regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist with the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- ACCA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on management accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both oral and written English is essential.
