Senior Production And Maintenance Engineer

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree from a recognized university in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive engineering experience.
• Direct experience working specifically within a cement manufacturing plant is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production and maintenance engineering activities to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Optimize cement production processes, including pyro-process operations and crushing/grinding systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement strategies to improve machinery reliability and operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for heavy-duty industrial equipment.
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvement and alternative fuel utilization.
• Support process automation initiatives, including SCADA systems and Central Control Room (CCR) integration.
• Lead high-risk shutdown activities while ensuring safety, quality, and operational continuity.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and procedures.
• Analyze production and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve plant performance and reliability.

Required Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of pyro-process and crushing/grinding optimization.
• Expertise in heavy machinery reliability and heavy-duty maintenance.
• Understanding of energy efficiency practices and alternative fuel utilization.
• Knowledge of process automation, SCADA systems, and CCR integration.
• Experience managing high-risk shutdown activities.
• Strong HSE leadership and safety management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
