About the Role:
Are you passionate about social media and love creating engaging content that inspires others? GeezJobs is looking for a creative and driven individual to join our team as a Social Media & Creative Content Creator. This is a junior-level opportunity — we’re not looking for years of experience, but we do want to see your passion and creativity in action!
Whether you run a fun TikTok page, post design reels on Instagram, write catchy captions, or manage a personal blog — we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Create engaging and visually appealing content (posts, reels, stories, etc.) for GeezJobs’ social media platforms
- Assist in managing day-to-day social media activities across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more
- Contribute fresh and creative content ideas tailored to our audience (job seekers and employers)
- Write clear, fun, and professional captions, short scripts, and social copy
- Support campaigns, promotions, and awareness-raising efforts
- Stay updated on current trends in social media, content creation, and employment markets
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong interest in social media, digital content, or storytelling
- Basic understanding of content platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Creativity and a great sense of what makes content click
- Willingness to learn and try new ideas
- Ability to shoot/edit basic video content is a plus (but not required)
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or Amharic
- Bonus if you’ve already posted content for fun or as a hobby (send us a link!)
