About the Job

The Stock Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movement, and ensuring alignment between physical inventory and system data.

The role supports financial accuracy, inventory control, and coordination between procurement and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Reconcile physical stock with system data on a regular basis.
• Prepare reports on inventory valuation and stock aging.
• Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams.
• Support inventory audits and identify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory control or accounting.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting principles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
