We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented storekeeper to manage inventory, oversee stock levels, and ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse/store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods while maintaining accurate records. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage in a clean and orderly manner.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to prevent shortages.
- Issue materials, tools, and equipment to staff/departments as required.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions (in/out) using manual or digital systems.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.
- Prepare reports on stock levels, shortages, and damages.
- Assist in coordinating deliveries and shipments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree or equivalent; certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., Cent, ERP) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic math skills for record-keeping and stock counts.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing.
