As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Expert with a background in Civil Engineering or Construction Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales by providing technical expertise, designing solutions, and consulting customers on the best products for their construction needs.
Job Summary:
The Technical Expert will be responsible for guiding the project/field sales team by leveraging their technical knowledge to design solutions, consult customers, and recommend the most suitable products for construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction materials, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales through technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in a related field, with real estate sales experience being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team and customers.
- Consult with customers to understand their construction needs and recommend appropriate products (e.g., furniture, sanitary materials, finishing materials).
- Design and propose tailored solutions for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide product recommendations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue growth through technical expertise.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and construction technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and architects.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including product specifications and installation guidelines.
- Provide training to the sales team on product features, benefits, and applications.
- Support the marketing team by contributing technical content for promotional materials
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in a technical role within the construction, real estate, or building materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishing products, and sanitary systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proven ability to drive sales through technical consulting and customer engagement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites and meet with clients.
