Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Technical & After-Sales Service Specialist to provide hands-on technical support, installation, and after-sales service for laboratory equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission laboratory equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Offer technical support to customers, resolving issues and providing product training.
- Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Manage warranty claims and service contracts for customers.
- Support the preparation of tenders and technical proposals for laboratory equipment, ensuring all specifications are met and aligned with customer requirements.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between technical and commercial aspects in tender submissions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical support or after-sales service, particularly in laboratory equipment.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service tasks.
