Transitor And Custom Clearing Officer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Transitor qualification is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of import and export procedures, customs clearance, and freight forwarding operations.
• Strong understanding of shipping documentation, trade regulations, and logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of customs procedures, cargo handling, and transportation management.
• Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics documentation systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years of Relevant Experience as a Transistor

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage import and export shipment processes from origin to final delivery.
• Prepare, review, and process shipping and customs clearance documentation accurately.
• Facilitate customs clearance procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and transport providers.
• Track shipment movement and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor cargo status and resolve issues related to shipment delays or documentation discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with import/export laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and maintain records of shipment transactions, permits, and clearance documents.
• Support procurement and warehouse teams by coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities.
• Negotiate with logistics service providers to optimize transportation cost and service quality.
• Prepare logistics and shipment reports for management review and operational decision-making.
• Ensure proper handling and storage arrangements for goods during transit.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce operational delays.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
