Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certified Transitor qualification is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of import and export procedures, customs clearance, and freight forwarding operations.
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation, trade regulations, and logistics coordination.
- Knowledge of customs procedures, cargo handling, and transportation management.
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics documentation systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years of Relevant Experience as a Transistor
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage import and export shipment processes from origin to final delivery.
- Prepare, review, and process shipping and customs clearance documentation accurately.
- Facilitate customs clearance procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
- Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and transport providers.
- Track shipment movement and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor cargo status and resolve issues related to shipment delays or documentation discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with import/export laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain records of shipment transactions, permits, and clearance documents.
- Support procurement and warehouse teams by coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Negotiate with logistics service providers to optimize transportation cost and service quality.
- Prepare logistics and shipment reports for management review and operational decision-making.
- Ensure proper handling and storage arrangements for goods during transit.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce operational delays.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
