The company’s mission is to make urban e-mobility accessible across Africa through innovative electric two-wheelers and related services. Dodai assembles electric motorcycles locally in Addis Ababa and plans expansion to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2026.
Purpose of the Role
The Warehouse Administrator/Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant warehouse data management. The role oversees ERP/WMS system integrity, inventory control, operational reporting, and warehouse coordination while acting as a key link between warehouse operations, finance, production, and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Maintain accurate inventory records for:
- Raw materials
- Work-in-progress (WIP)
- Finished goods
- Consumables
- Ensure all inventory movements (inbound, outbound, and internal transfers) are properly documented and recorded in the ERP/WMS system.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate replenishment or escalation when necessary.
- Ensure proper labeling, bin allocation, and storage standards throughout the warehouse.
- Enforce 5S warehouse organization standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support dispatch and pre-delivery readiness by aligning physical stock with system records.
2. ERP / Warehouse System Management
- Reconcile physical inventory with ERP records and finance reports.
- Investigate and resolve inventory or system discrepancies in coordination with warehouse and cross-functional teams.
- Support and train junior warehouse administrators on:
- ERP/WMS usage
- Documentation procedures
- Inventory recording standards
3. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare and maintain:
- Daily warehouse reports
- Weekly operational reports
- Monthly inventory reports
- Analyze inventory data to identify:
- Trends
- Risks
- Process improvement opportunities
- Provide accurate and timely reports to management.
- Support internal and external audits by supplying required documentation and reports.
4. Coordination & Compliance
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with:
- Internal controls
- Audit requirements
- Company policies
- Track and follow up on:
- Inventory variances
- Operational incidents
- Corrective actions
- Support implementation of new warehouse procedures, controls, and system updates.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps in warehouse processes, documentation, and system usage.
- Recommend and support process improvements.
- Assist with:
- Warehouse layout optimization
- Workflow improvements
- System enhancements
- Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in:
- Warehouse administration
- Inventory control
- Logistics operations
- Manufacturing or assembly industry experience is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems such as:
- Cin7
- SAP
- Microsoft Dynamics
- Or similar platforms
- Understanding of:
- Inventory accounting
- Stock reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to prepare structured operational and management reports.
