Position Overview

DK Holdings Company, a leader in Farm Tractor Implements and Distribution Tractors, manufacturing, Metal Fabrication, Plastic Cup, and Food Packaging production, is seeking a motivated and experienced Web Page and Social Media Officer. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Language, Journalism, or related fields with a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
  • COC LEVEL 4/3 in Marketing, Language, Journalism, or related field, including short-term training in graphic design, video editing, and photo shoots with 4 years and above relevant experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in multimedia design, social media management, content creation, and digital marketing is commonly expected.
  • Proven experience in photo and video production and editing, operation of digital cameras, and managing content calendars is highly valued.
  • Experience with website management and basic SEO principles is desirable.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube) and management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Strong skills in content creation including writing, editing, photo and video production, and graphic design.
  • Ability to maintain brand consistency, manage digital communities, and respond to audience engagement professionally.
  • Competence in analytics, using metrics to assess social media performance and optimize strategies.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities of a Social Media Officer

A Social Media Officer with broad responsibilities in our company needs to combine creative, technical, and strategic skills. Their duties typically cover the following areas:

1. Social Media Platform Management

  • Oversee and update all company social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Schedule posts, share relevant updates, and maintain a consistent posting calendar.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner to encourage audience engagement.

2. Content Creation and Development

  • Plan, write, and edit engaging content tailored for each platform, including captions, stories, and long-form posts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create campaign-specific or timely content.

3. Photo and Video Production

  • Organize and take photo shoots and video sessions to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
  • Develop concepts for promotional videos or behind-the-scenes content reflecting the company's culture or products.

4. Photo and Video Editing

  • Edit and enhance photos and videos for use across digital platforms.
  • Ensure visual content meets platform specifications and aligns with brand standards.
  • Graphic design.

5. Website Management

  • Update website content regularly, including banners, blogs, landing pages, and product/service details.
  • Coordinate with IT or web development teams to maintain site functionality and optimize user experience.
  • Implement basic SEO practices to boost web visibility.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.

6. Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, impressions, and conversions.
  • Prepare regular reports to evaluate content effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

7. Brand Consistency and Compliance

  • Ensure all content is consistent with company voice, values, and brand guidelines across platforms.
  • Safeguard compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.

8. Trend Monitoring and Innovative Campaigns

  • Stay updated on emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
  • Experiment with new content formats or features to keep the company's digital presence fresh.

9. Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, customer service, and product teams to align messaging with broader business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and visual.
