VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Ethiopian Airlines Group invites qualified applicants for Ethiopian Aviation University in the capacity of Adjunct Professor of Piston Engines and Propellers.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background:
- PhD in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.
- Relevant certifications (Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification).
Industry Experience:
- Practical experience in the aviation industry, particularly in roles related to piston engines or propeller systems.
- Possess expertise in Aeronautical Engineering: In-depth knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion, and aircraft systems.
- Mechanical Engineering: Understanding of mechanical design, thermodynamics, and materials science as they relate to engines.
- Aviation Technology: Familiarity with current technologies in piston engines and propeller systems.
- Maintenance and Repair: Expertise in maintenance practices and regulatory standards for aircraft engines.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
