Ethiopian Airlines Group invites qualified applicants for Ethiopian Aviation University in the capacity of Adjunct Professor of Piston Engines and Propellers.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Educational Background:

• PhD in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.
• Relevant certifications (Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification).

Industry Experience:

• Practical experience in the aviation industry, particularly in roles related to piston engines or propeller systems.
• Possess expertise in Aeronautical Engineering: In-depth knowledge of aerodynamics, propulsion, and aircraft systems.
• Mechanical Engineering: Understanding of mechanical design, thermodynamics, and materials science as they relate to engines.
• Aviation Technology: Familiarity with current technologies in piston engines and propeller systems.
• Maintenance and Repair: Expertise in maintenance practices and regulatory standards for aircraft engines.

LANGUAGE

Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
