Job Description
The Associate Language Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality language instruction, supporting student learning and language development, and maintaining academic standards. The role involves preparing and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress, and contributing to an effective and engaging educational environment.
Job Title:

Education:
Option 1
- BA Degree in English Language.
- BA Degree in Foreign Language and Literature.
- BA Degree in related fields from a recognized University/College.
Work Experience (Option 1):
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Language Instructor in a recognized university, college, or training institution.
OR
Option 2
- MA Degree in English Language.
- MA Degree in Foreign Language and Literature.
- MA Degree in related fields from a recognized University/College.
Work Experience (Option 2):
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Language Instructor in a recognized university, college, or training institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver language instruction in accordance with approved curriculum and academic standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
- Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in improving language proficiency and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate academic and attendance records.
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in academic meetings, training, and institutional initiatives as required.
- Promote continuous improvement in teaching methods and learning outcomes.
Age Requirement:
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age: 35 years.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of English (Ethiopian Airlines’ working language) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of additional foreign languages is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an academic and multicultural environment.
Required Documents:

- Birth Certificate (issued by City Administration).
- Grade 10 Certificate.
- Grade 12 Certificate (where applicable).
- Degree Certificate and Academic Credentials.

- Any other relevant supporting documents.
