Construction Technician

Job Summary:

The Construction Technician is responsible for supporting construction site operations, supervising technical activities, monitoring project progress, and ensuring construction works are completed according to quality standards, technical specifications, and project schedules. The role requires practical construction knowledge, site coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced project environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily construction site operations and technical activities.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Assist in supervising laborers, subcontractors, and site activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
• Coordinate material usage and site resource management.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Identify technical issues on-site and report them to supervisors.
• Support quality control and inspection activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and site records.

Educational Qualification:

• Advanced Diploma or Vocational / Technical School Diploma in Construction Technology.

Work Experience:

• 5/7 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in construction companies is mandatory.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and regulations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
