Job Description
Tinaw Business S.C. is a legally registered company established under the Commercial Code of Ethiopia, located in Guraghe Zone, Zegbabot Woreda, in the Central Ethiopian State.
The company is engaged in the production and export of roses, operating large-scale greenhouse farms and supplying international markets, with a strong workforce and significant annual revenue.
With extensive experience in the floriculture sector, the company is expanding its operations and is seeking a highly professional Cost & Budget Division Head for its Addis Ababa Office.
Key Responsibilities
The role focuses on budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, and team leadership.
- Lead annual budget planning and preparation
- Monitor and control organizational costs
- Perform costing and financial analysis
- Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Conduct performance evaluation and cost efficiency analysis
- Provide financial support to production and export operations
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls
- Manage inventory costing and related processes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and budget performance reports
- Supervise and manage employees under the division
- Perform other related duties as required
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy of budget forecasts versus actual performance
- Timeliness of budget preparation and reporting
- Implementation of cost reduction initiatives
- Improvement in cost per stem and cost per hectare
- Budget compliance rate
- Data quality and reliability across departments
- Staff training and development
Qualifications & Experience
- BA/MA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in budgeting, costing, or financial analysis
- At least 1 year of experience as a Section/Division Head
- Experience in agriculture, flower farm, export sector, or manufacturing is preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in team management and financial reporting
- Professional certification such as ACCA is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
