Job Purpose

The job holder is accountable for the E2E credit granting & collection process through the consistent application of the company’s credit policy.

Main Responsibilities

• Set up and execute the credit control system.
• Monitor Unilever’s Bank Accounts and post deposits in the SAP system.
• Prepare Cash Receipt Vouchers for each deposit.
• Collect and post Withholding Tax Receipts.
• Maintain proper master records and filing for traceability.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations.
• Meet cash collection and debtors day targets.
• Respond promptly to client and internal inquiries.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by management.
• Liaise with finance teams and customers to resolve credit issues.
• Handle disputed bills and negotiate payment terms.
• Chase overdue invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Identify changes in payment trends and propose actions.
• Take actions for customers who default on payments.
• Send customer statements and ensure account reconciliations.
• Support in developing credit management capabilities.

• Experience with SAP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with 3+ years’ experience.
