Job Purpose
The job holder is accountable for the E2E credit granting & collection process through the consistent application of the company’s credit policy.
Main Responsibilities
- Set up and execute the credit control system.
- Monitor Unilever’s Bank Accounts and post deposits in the SAP system.
- Prepare Cash Receipt Vouchers for each deposit.
- Collect and post Withholding Tax Receipts.
- Maintain proper master records and filing for traceability.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations.
- Meet cash collection and debtors day targets.
- Respond promptly to client and internal inquiries.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as requested by management.
- Liaise with finance teams and customers to resolve credit issues.
- Handle disputed bills and negotiate payment terms.
- Chase overdue invoices and maintain accurate records.
- Identify changes in payment trends and propose actions.
- Take actions for customers who default on payments.
- Send customer statements and ensure account reconciliations.
- Support in developing credit management capabilities.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with 3+ years’ experience.
