We are looking for a skilled and passionate Coffee Cupper to join our coffee export team. The role is responsible for evaluating coffee quality, ensuring consistency, and maintaining international standards for export markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional coffee cupping sessions to evaluate aroma, flavor, body, acidity, and aftertaste
- Grade green coffee beans based on quality standards and export requirements
- Identify defects and inconsistencies in coffee samples
- Maintain accurate cupping records and reports
- Collaborate with sourcing and production teams to ensure quality control
- Support in selecting coffee profiles suitable for different international markets
- Ensure compliance with global coffee quality standards and buyer specifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Coffee Cupper or in coffee quality control
- Certification from Coffee Quality Institute (Q Grader is a strong advantage)
- Strong sensory evaluation and tasting skills
- Deep understanding of coffee processing methods and grading systems
- Attention to detail and consistency in evaluation
- Good communication and reporting skills
