Job Summary:
The Data Encoder is responsible for accurately entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining organizational data in computer systems and databases. The role requires strong attention to detail, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage data efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Level of Qualification:
- ICT Diploma/Level IV in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
Experience:
- 0–1 year of relevant work experience in data entry, documentation, office administration, or related areas.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data accurately into company databases and systems.
- Verify and review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Maintain proper filing and organization of electronic and physical records.
- Generate reports and assist in data retrieval when required.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of organizational information.
- Support administrative and documentation activities.
- Perform regular backup and updating of records.
- Coordinate with departments to collect and organize required data.
Required Skills:
- Good computer literacy and typing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
