Deputy Chief International Banking Officer

About the Job

The Bank is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to lead and manage operations in the area of International Banking. The role is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing departmental activities, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, business growth, and achievement of strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall operations and performance of the International Banking department.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, foreign trade rules, and internal policies.
• Drive business growth, customer satisfaction, and service excellence.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and staff performance.
• Coordinate with other business units to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Support expansion of International Banking products and services.

About You

Job Requirement

Qualification: First Degree and above from recognized higher learning institution.

Experience: Ten (10) years’ relevant banking experience, preferably in Banking Business and/or Banking Operations, out of which at least four (4) years’ experience as a Department Manager/ Department Director in the area of International Banking
