Job Summary

  • Digital Product Development Specialist is responsible for driving the success of digital product portfolio by leveraging user research, market trends, and data analysis to contribute significantly to the product vision, roadmap development, and feature prioritization. The role holder is also responsible for taking ownership of specific features, managing their entire lifecycle from ideation and design through development, launch, and ongoing optimization. By collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, development, marketing), the role holder will ensure seamless product delivery.
  • In addition, the role holder is responsible for continuously analyzing product usage data to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and inform future product iterations, while also staying current on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the Bank's digital offerings remain competitive.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Management or equivalent is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience

Functional/Technical Competencies

  • User research & insight generation: Ability to conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to gather actionable insights and understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Human centred design & usability: Ability to design intuitive user experiences by ensuring ease of use, logical flow, and accessibility across digital platforms.
  • Prototyping & visual design: Ability to develop interactive prototypes, wireframes, and mockups that align with the Bank’s branding and digital design guidelines.
  • New product development: Ability to translate customer insights and business needs into new digital products, features, and service enhancements.
  • Digital product feasibility analysis: Ability to assess the viability of proposed digital products or services by conducting comprehensive cost-benefit analyses, evaluating potential risks, returns, and alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives
  • Interaction design: Define and optimize user interactions, including micro-interactions, behavior patterns, and user feedback mechanisms in digital products.
  • Information architecture: Design and organize the structure, hierarchy, and navigation of content within digital products to ensure clarity and usability.
