Job Summary
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern will support the implementation of workplace health, safety, and environmental programs by assisting with safety inspections, documentation, training activities, and hazard identification. The internship provides practical exposure to manufacturing safety standards, environmental sustainability practices, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine safety inspections in work areas.
- Document accidents, incidents, and safety reports.
- Support safety training and awareness sessions.
- Maintain safety records and inspection logs.
- Participate in team meetings on safety improvements.
- Identify potential hazards under the supervision of senior staff.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Experience Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate.
- Prior manufacturing exposure is an advantage but not required.
Required Skills
- Strong interest in workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn safety regulations and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
