EV/Hybrid Technician

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related engineering field.
• Specialized EV/Hybrid vehicle training programs.
• High-Voltage Safety Certification (mandatory for working with EV/Hybrid systems).
• EV/Hybrid Diagnostic & Repair Certification.
• Battery Management System (BMS) Training.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Hybrid vehicles.

Responsibilities:

As an EV/Hybrid Technician at Paul Ries & Sons PC Workshop, you will be responsible for:

• Performing comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on EV/Hybrid powertrain and battery systems.
• Working safely and proficiently with high-voltage electrical systems, including inverters, converters, and motor control units.
• Diagnosing and repairing regenerative braking systems and thermal management systems specific to EV/Hybrid vehicles.
• Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues within EV/Hybrid systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving software and firmware issues in EV/Hybrid vehicles.
• Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance on EV/Hybrid vehicles.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in EV/Hybrid technology through continuous learning and training.
• Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Collaborating with team members to enhance service practices and customer satisfaction.
