On behalf of a well-known company:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Professional with 5+ years of solid finance and accounting experience in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial activities, including AP/AR, ledgers, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct cost analysis and develop standard cost models for manufacturing operations.
- Handle payroll, tax reporting (VAT, WHT, Income Tax, Pension) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and year-end closing.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional certifications are a plus).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance/accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial reporting, and Ethiopian tax laws.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
