Job Summary:
The Finishing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all site finishing works during the contract period. This includes execution and quality control of TV unit installations, gypsum work, ceramic and granite work, paint, lighting/electrical fittings, and other decorative finishes. The role ensures the timely and high-quality delivery of interior finishing in line with project design, schedule, and standards.
Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision & Work Execution
- Organize and manage all finishing tasks, including:
- TV units and built-in joinery
- Gypsum ceilings and partitions
- Ceramic and granite tile installation
- Interior and exterior paint
- Decorative lighting and electrical works
- Decorative wall finishes, cladding, MDF, and WPC installations
- Supervise laborers and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality.
- Interpret drawings and implement according to interior design specifications.
Quality Control:
- Ensure finishing work meets high-quality standards and follows approved design.
- Conduct regular inspections for level, alignment, color matching, and final look.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area at all times.
Coordination
- Coordinate with project team members, including designers, engineers, and procurement staff.
- Report daily site progress and any material or man power requirements
- Work closely with electricians, carpenters, painters, and other trades for seamless coordination.
Time & Material Management
- Track daily work output to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor material usage, reduce waste, and ensure proper handling on site.
- Maintain documentation and records during the contract period.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or technical certificate in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in interior and finishing supervision.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, tools, and application methods
- Ability to read and interpret interior and architectural drawings
- Team leadership and site coordination
- Strong attention to detail and quality finishing
- Basic reporting and communication skills
Contract Conditions:
- Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (definite period)
