Job Summary

The Building Maintenance Section is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and reliability of all bank buildings and facilities. The role involves overseeing preventive maintenance, supervising repair works, managing maintenance teams and contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The position plays a key role in maintaining uninterrupted business operations by ensuring all physical infrastructure is in optimal condition.

Educational Qualification

• BSc in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Construction Technology Management

Work Experience

• 4 years as Senior Building Maintenance Engineer or equivalent, or 9 years relevant experience in the banking industry OR 2 years as Head, Building Maintenance Section or equivalent or 10 years relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for bank buildings and facilities.
• Inspect buildings regularly to ensure structural integrity, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil maintenance works.
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and contractor performance.
• Prepare maintenance reports, cost estimates, and budget inputs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Respond promptly to facility breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs and installations.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, assets, and service history.
