Company Overview:
The Oromia Industrial Parks Development Corporation (OIPDC) is established under regulation number 215/2012 and is mandated to oversee the construction and administration of Integrated Agro-Industrial Parks (IAIPs) in the region. Currently, the corporation manages two IAIPs in Bulbula and Nekemte, as well as six RTCs located across different central and eastern parts of the Oromia Region.
ICT System Administrator and Team Leader
Job Description:
Oromia Industrial Parks Development Corporation is seeking a talented ICT System Administrator and Team Leader to serve as the organization’s IT System Administrator and Team Leader, reporting directly to the CEO. The role requires transformative leadership in managing and improving ICT systems and infrastructure.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Roles:
- Perform day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of ERP systems
- Provide external or specialized expertise on system selection and implementation
- Ensure infrastructure readiness, including network connectivity, server management, and integration of barcode scanners and tablets with ERP systems
- Map business requirements to technical functionality and facilitate communication between technical teams and developers
System Management: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and cloud systems to ensure optimal performance.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, perform diagnostics, and implement preventive solutions.
Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain system documentation and provide training on new and existing systems.
Project Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee IT projects, ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met.
Communication: Communicate technical issues, solutions, and strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze existing systems and implement improvements to enhance organizational efficiency and performance.
Education Qualifications and Work Experience: MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related fields. Applicants must have 4 years (MSc) or 6 years (BSc) of direct work experience.
