Industrial Electrician

Key Duties:

• Install, wire, and connect electrical systems in industrial settings, including motors, control panels, wiring, and lighting.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, or equipment to minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance teams, and production staff to support operational efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and electrical systems as required.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role in an industrial environment.
• Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform manual tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various environmental conditions.
• May be required to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding situations.
