Key Duties:
- Install, wire, and connect electrical systems in industrial settings, including motors, control panels, wiring, and lighting.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, components, or equipment to minimize downtime.
- Interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineers, maintenance teams, and production staff to support operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and electrical systems as required.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role in an industrial environment.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform manual tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various environmental conditions.
- May be required to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding situations.
