Job Summary
SVO is looking for a visionary, creative, and dedicated young IT Assistant who will work under the supervision of the IT Specialist. Both the IT Specialist and the IT Assistant work together to support the organization’s:
- Technology management
- Digital marketing
- Global communication systems
Qualifications
- Experience: Fresh Graduates [Classes of 2024 (2016 E.C) and 2025 (2017 E.C)]
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, ICT, or a related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above (required).
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Knowledge of two or more Ethiopian languages is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools (social media, email marketing, website management, etc.).
- Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, teamwork, and learning.
- Willingness to work beyond regular hours when needed and to travel to project or field offices.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Passionate about using technology for social good, innovation, and the empowerment of vulnerable groups.
